General Notices for Title I Parents

 

  • Parents, please review the District’s Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy. If you have any input in regards to the policy, please contact the St. Landry Parish School Board Title I Office of Parent and Family Engagement.  Parents can request a meeting to provide any inputs to the policy.
  • Parents, you have the right-to-know the qualifications of your child’s teachers at the start of each school year and/or when your child is taught four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who does not meet certification requirements.
  • Parents, you have a right to Title I information on an on-going, timely basis - brochures, resources, family resource centers, front offices and on district and school websites.
  • Grading System – St. Landry Parish School District is on a nine-week grading system, however; each school determines the dates for sending home progress reports.
