Ms. Chancler is a registered and licensed
dietitian with over 10 years of experience in food service
management and nutrition education. She is a native of St.
Landry Parish and graduate of Port Barre High School. She earned
her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Southern
University and her Masters of Science degree in Food Science and
Human Nutrition from Colorado State University. She is also
credentialed as a School Nutrition Specialist, which is a mark
of excellence and achievement that reflects what it takes to
manage school nutrition programs in today’s challenging climate.
Ms. Chancler is passionate about serving the students of St.
Landry Parish quality, nutritious meals and providing superior
customer service.
