Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

St. Landry Parish School Board is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2016-2017 school year. At the beginning of this school year 20 schools and 2 programs participated in CEP. Due to the recent floods, we were able to add more schools.  Effective November 1, 2016, ALL (St. Landry School Board) SCHOOLS will be CEP for the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year.

All enrolled students in the St. Landry Parish Public School System are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household. No further action is required. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. However, prior student meal charges will not be forgiven. Parents/guardians are still responsible for any breakfast/lunch debt incurred before November 1, 2016.

There will be no income verification this year.  Any households that were selected for income verification in October for SY 16-17 do not have to submit any financial documentation. If documentation has already been submitted to the Child Nutrition Department, it will be disposed of properly (shredded).
